Terms and Conditions

  1. Straitline Blinds P/L considers this quotation as confidential information.
  2. This quotation is valid for 30 days from date shown on quote, unless agreed otherwise by Straitline Blinds P/L.
  3. Warranty: Straitline Blinds P/L offer the following:
    • Manufactured goods
    • 5 years in privately owned and occupied Residences and Commercial Installations
    • 1 year in rented or leased residences
    • Installation - 12 months
    • Maintenance - 3 months
  4. A deposit of 40% of the quoted price is required before any manufacturing/ordering will commence (unless agreed otherwise). Payment in full is required on the day of installation (unless agreed otherwise). Straitline Blinds P/L reserves the right to charge interest at current overdraft interest rates for any account exceeding normal term limits. The customer agrees to pay fees and charges incurred in recovering any outstanding debts on acceptance of this quotation.
  5. On your instructions to proceed (in writing or verbal), this quotation becomes your order and is a binding contract between the parties.
  6. All blinds are measured 'square'. No responsiblility can be accepted for 'out of square' existing conditions.
  7. This order cannot be altered without the consent of Straitline Blinds P/L and then only upon such conditions as advised by Straitline Blinds P/L.
  8. Once order has entered and commenced production, the order cannot be cancelled. Should the client wish to do so, their deposit will be automatically forfeited to cover costs incurred, unless agreed otherwise by Straitline Blinds P/L.
  9. Title of goods is not passed from Straitline Blinds P/L to the Customer until payment is received in full.
  10. Colours and weaves may vary slightly from samples provided.
  11. Whilst every endeavour will be made to meet supply dates, no responsibility will be accepted for delays or occurrences outside our control.
  12. Where installation occurs through existing wall tiles or plastered walls, all care will be taken but no responsibility will be accepted for any damage that may occur.
  13. Once goods have been installed, any monies outstanding remain payable to Straitline Blinds P/L in the event of theft.

Mate, just a quick email of thanks and acknowledgment to you and your team for the fantastic job that was carried out from start to finish with my new curtains last week. From the communication with yourself, Jo and the installers - it was a pleasant experience all round.

The two lads you sent were "First Class" in every aspect you as the business owner would have wanted them to be.They were on time (early actually), very well prepared and equipped, cleaned up every speck of dust as they worked and explained to me how to clean / maintain my curtains.

As a business owner myself, I am probably a little bit pickier than most customers when it comes to service employees ...... Well - full marks to these guys as they handled themselves very well and represented Straitline Blinds with perfection. I would have no hesitation in recommending Straitline Blinds to any of my friends or family in the future.
